The goal of this training is to provide an overview of the services available through the Division of Rehabilitation Services with a focus on vocational rehabilitation services for youth with disabilities to help secure education and employment.

Outcomes:

• Participants will learn what the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS) is and what services are available through DRS for youth to pursue education and employment.
• Participants will be prepared to assist youth in applying and accessing DRS services.
• Participants will learn about the Client Assistance Program (CAP) and resources available from Equip for Equality.
• Participants will learn advocacy strategies for supporting youth in accessing DRS services and when to connect you with EFE’s CAP program for help.
