During this session, we will discuss the signs and symptoms of sexual trauma. Participants will also learn about intimacy trauma and the effects it can have on clients.  We will also explore ways to support our clients with releasing trauma that is trapped in the body.

About the Facilitator: Heshima has dedicated over 18 years to the social service and mental health field. Her professional experience has included parent education, family assessments, and individual and group therapy. In addition, Heshima coordinates workshops and trainings, faculty conferences, while supporting individuals and organizations with gaining an understanding about the many aspects of trauma-informed care.
